I loved good-sized and brand-new rooms with comfortable beds and view in the garden wing and a large balcony. The location was beautiful for walking around Jefferson Pools. All of the staff were particularly helpful, caring.
Facilities were great, but Wi-Fi was very poor.

Thomas
The hotel had exceptionally good views of the surrounding mountains. The location was stunning, just a pleasant stroll away from Jefferson Pools. The hotel was in front of a waterfall.

Courteous and polite staff, everything fairly clean.
A wide range of amazing and great breakfast items to choose from. Delightful and fantastic room available with double beds and a balcony, for instance. The most important - great location in the mountains of VA luxury.

Andrea
The location was beautiful, in front of a waterfall etc and the interior design was unique. Further, it was adjacent to desert, the entire restaurant, and the supermarket. The room I stayed in was great-sized with a view🙂

The services are excellent, including a heated pool. The atmosphere of the hotel is family. The positives include stunning and great location and parking on-site.
Their breakfast is expensive, can definitely be improved.

Lots of activities to enjoy, from arcade/bowling to movies to spa to bonfire. Perfect for friends who enjoy going out at nights.
Felt right at home, no reason to complain.

We liked the history tour and dinner at 1776 restaurant. The fitness center needs an upgrade and it would have been nice to take classes in there, but there were none offered. The spa seemed nice but the prices were so high, that we decided not to have any treatments. The tea in the afternoon was fun. Unfortunately the day we took the tour to see the Cascade waterfalls, it was pouring rain so we got drenched and weren't able to get the full tour. We thought the bowling prices were very high so we didn't go bowling. We were supposed to go to the Jefferson pools on Monday Jan 2, but they were closed despite the fact that the concierge told us they were open! So all in all, we had fun but not sure we'd go back soon.

The location was beautiful and the staff were generally friendly
we chose this hotel for its array of activities, booking it six months in advance. They neglected to tell us we should have pre- booked all our activities and in house restaurants before our arrival. Every single activity was fully booked and our 12 year old was left with nothing but the swimming pool. In addition, they advertised both a mini golf and a lazy river and slides for Summer 2012. The mini golf wasn't built and the lazy river opened on the afternoon of our last day. At $400 a night this hotel proved to be a huge disappointment.

Very grand and historic building. Plenty of activities to enjoy, including a relaxing spa. Beautiful landscapes with rolling green hills. Delicious food with good service, although a bit pricey.

Nestled in a private spot right in front of a lovely waterfall. The room had both heating and a cozy carpet, which was a nice touch. 🌿

The grounds were stunning. Views of the mountains and the fall foliage were spectacular. The great hall, dinning rooms, event rooms, library and other facilities were impressive. Great long weekend!
I was disappointed in the size of our bathroom. Small shower, really small sink and no vanity area.

The room was neat and inviting, with early access to the garden. The location was beautiful and great, just a short walk to Jefferson's Restaurant at The Omni Homestead Resort. The Homestead is one of America's best resorts, in a fairly nice area.
